Tekya “Abramz” Abraham designs and facilitates unique and relevant personal and professional development trainings for professionals. The trainings aim to build capacity by equipping participants with vital professional skills, knowledge, and strategies that extend beyond their craft.
His main target groups are entrepreneurs and freelancers due to the lack of comprehensive, relevant, effective and well delivered training programs for this bracket of professionals. The fundamental practical skills, tools, strategies and knowledge that he shares are relevant, and cut across.
He has trained musicians, actors, dancers, writers, visual artists, educators, web developers, leaders, film makers, photographers, journalists, graphic designers, poets, DJs, fashion designers, events organizers, development workers, arts managers, farmers, caterers, the list goes on. He has had the opportunity to design and facilitate impactful trainings for individuals, companies and organizations.
Below are examples of some of the trainings he has held.
Abramz facilitating a professional development training at the Uganda National Theatre on 17th June 2024. Organized by the Uganda National Cultural Centre (UNCC). This training was attended by dancers, musicians, filmmakers, event organizers, arts teachers, among other professionals.
DAY 1 – Tropical F.M, Mubende: Abramz facilitating a personal and professional development training for the staff of Tropical F.M 88.4 in Mubende district, Uganda on 17th February 2024. They acquired relevant practicals skills, strategies and knowledge to enhance their work at the radio station and side businesses, as well as enriching their personal lives. Since this is a group of people who work for the same company, he also facilitated some team building activities for them.

It was attended by professionals from various fields, such as; development, social work, tourism, education, media, catering, entertainment, film production, cosmetology, among others.

Abramz facilitating a personal and professional development training for the Afrika Arts Kollective (AAK) staff at their offices/ work space in Kyebando, Kampala, August 2023. This was a two day training. Afrika Arts Kollective is an East African art collaborative that focuses on organizing innovative projects to address social and economic issues affecting Kyebando, a poverty-stricken pre-urban slum on the outskirts of Kampala, the capital city of Uganda.
Abramz holding a personal and professional development training workshop at the Uganda National Theatre in December, 2022. This was a series of three trainings (16th, 23rd and 30th December). Abramz designed and facilitated all the trainings. They were organized by Native Voices International and hosted by the Uganda National Cultural Centre (UNCC). These trainings were free of charge. Even though they primarily targeting creatives, they were open other kinds of professionals. They attracted creatives of various generations.

This three day training program was for leaders who are using Hiphop elements, arts, entrepreneurship and other avenues to build and uplift their communities.
The main purpose of these trainings was to build capacity for these artists, leaders and entrepreneurs by equipping them with vital professional skills, knowledge and strategies that stretch beyond their craft. This was in November, 2022.
